Three Deputy Attorney Generals resign

Islamabad- Three Deputy Attorney Generals, who were representing the federal government in key cases, tendered their resignations citing personal reasons. Advocate Zahid Khan, Waleed Ansari and Mohsin Imam , all belonging to Karachi , have submitted their resignations to Attorney General (AG), Salman Aslam Butt. According to reports, Advocate Zahid Khan was assisting the AG in former president Pervez Musharraf’s case for removal of name from Exit Control List (ECL). Waleed Ansari was representing the federal government in cases related to tax and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), whereas Mohsin Imam was playing his key role in criminal cases.
