LARKANA - A dispute took place in the provincial buildings department office over contracts between Rahmatullah Abro, brother of recently elected PTI Senator Saifullah Abro, and Executive Engineer Aftab Ahmed Abro and other employees. After the video went viral, associates of Abro came again and allegedly beat up an employee Ali Hassan Khaskheli and his son with cudgels, rendering them bleeding and then fled. 

XEN Abro told media that he was sitting in his government office when Rahmatullah Abro came, insulted, had a quarrel and threatened him of dire consequences without any cogent reason. He said he would take legal action over creating hindrances in performance of government duties.

However, Rahmat Abro said that they were being targeted because of PTI, adding corruption was made in the tender and dispute was also made with them.

Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Advisor for Works and Services Department, also took notice of the issue and instructed to lodge an FIR against the contractor Rahmatullah Abro. Through his spokesperson, Khuhro said that abusing government servants in their offices and threatening them would not be tolerated.

Senator Saifullah Abro said in his video message that he had apprised the Sindh governor about the whole situation.
