JHANG/KASUR - At least 10 people including a couple and their two children and 15 others sustained critical injuries in road accidents, land disputes and mishaps occurred here in different parts of Jhang and Kasur districts over the past 24 hours.
As per detail, four people including two brothers - Shero Khan and Mehor Khan and Khaidad Khan and Safar Ali, residents of District Zhob, Balochistan, were killed and 13 others injured when a Toyota hiac van BMA-039 collided with a sugarcane-laden tractor-trolley JAA-4918 standing on roadside on Ring Road near Bypass, some 5-km from Jhang. All the passengers on board the ill-fated van were on the way back home after attending three days Raiwind congregation. 
The injured were admitted to DHQ Hospital Jhang and bodies were dispatched to Balochistan.
In another incident, one Qaisar Ali, a resident of Chak-444 Gawansan Wala situated in the Mochiwala Police precincts was shot dead by Aslam, Jafar, Rizwan and Allah Ditta over a petty land dispute. The Mochiwala Police have registered a case.
Moreover, Israr Ahmad, a cousin of the deceased also sustained bullet injuries in the incident and was admitted to DHQ Hospital. Meanwhile, one Ghulam Haider, a resident of Darbar Ahmad Ali Shok Shorkot was shot dead by Munir Ahmad and his accomplices over a land dispute. Liqat Ali was also injured in the incident and was referred to Nishter Hospital Multan due to his critical condition.
The Shorkot Police have registered a case and arrested the culprit.
In KASUR, four members of a family including a couple and two children were killed when roof of a dilapidated house caved in here in the wee hours of Monday. According to rescue sources, roof of the house owned by a labourer namely Shahbaz located in Mustafaabad area came down with a bang when the family members were asleep.
The neighbours after sensing the situation informed the rescue which reached the scene and dug out bodies of the couple and their two children from under the rubble.
