Anti-Israel protests rage on




KARACHI - The workers of Jamaatud Dawa and other parties on Monday held protest demonstrations in Karachi against the bombing of Israel on the innocent Palestinians. Led by its Karachi Ameer Engineer Naveed Qamar, a large number of Jamaat-ud-Dawa workers gathered outside the Karachi Press Club, where they burnt the flags of America and Israel. They also chanted slogans against the US and Israel.
Addressing the protest demonstration, Qamar said that Israel was killing the innocent Palestinians with the help of United States of America. He appealed to the Islamic countries to retaliate in the same manner against the terrorism of Israel.
 Condemning the terrorism of Israel and US, the leader of Jamaatud Dawa said that the attacks of Palestinians are justifiable because they doing it in their defence.
Meanwhile, the workers of the Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) also staged protest demonstration against the Israeli aggression which caused deaths of innocent Palestinians. A large number of IJT activists and students participated in the demo held outside the Karachi Press Club. They were carrying placards and banners inscribed with anti-Israeli and pro-Palestinian slogans.  They also burnt the flags of Israel and the US. The IJT leaders said that the OIC, the sole body of Muslim representation at the world level, had become a dead horse.
They demanded the Muslim countries to get united against the aggression of Israel.
EDHI RALLIES AGAINST ISRAEL BOMBING: The famous social activist and founder of Edhi Foundation Pakistan, Abdul Sattar Edhi on Monday took out a rally against killings of innocent Palestinian citizens including women and children in the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Edhi led the rally of ambulance cars that marched from Bolton Market to Mazar-e-Quaid. Speaking on the occasion, Edhi said the brutal military attack of Israel on innocent people of Palestinian was a matter of shame for the whole civilized world. He termed the Zionist attacks genocide of humanity and demanded of the world community to get this bloodbath immediately stopped.
He said he was neither a politician nor a leader rather a humble worker of humanity. He said he would certainly raise voice against attacks on humanity in any part of the world. He said the silence of Arab League and United Nations on the cold blooded murder of innocent Palestinians including women and children is highly regrettable. 
He said the world community should have to come forward to save the lives of Palestinian people. Meanwhile, PPP leaders Abdul Qadir Patel, Syed Najmi Alam and Lateef Mughal have strongly condemned the blast in Abbas Town here. In a statement issued on Monday, they said such incidents were conspiracy against the peaceful environment which the countrymen will foil with their unity. They also prayed for the departed souls and recovery of the injured.
