KARACHI - Chief of PML-F and spiritual leader of Hurs, Pir Sibgatullah Shah Rashdi Pir Pagara has said that his party would observe November 30 as protest day against the alleged misbehavior of ruling PPP ministers with PML-F women MPAs in last session of Sindh Assembly. Addressing a press conference at his residence Raja House here on Monday after meeting with the leaders of the nationalist parties, he further announced that on December 14, a huge public meeting would be held in Hyderabad to protest against the present local government system which he claimed that tantamount to division of Sindh.Earlier, the chief of PML-F held three-hour lengthy session with the heads of Nationalist party leaders including NPP President Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi, general secretary NPP Naim ur Rehman, leader of ANP Badar Khan, Save Sindh Committee convener and chief of Sindh United Party Jalal Mahmood Shah, Awami Tehreek President Lateef Paleejo, Chief of Jeay Sindh Tehreek Dr Safdar Sarki, central leader of SUP Shah Mahmood Shah and PML-F leader Imtiaz Sheikh.They discussed current political situation and vowed to initiate joint struggle against the controversial local government law. Pagara said the protest against PPP ministers was supposed to be started soon but it has been delayed due to Muharram month. He said protest against the SPLGA-2012 would be continued and the PML-F will not hold further talks with government.He lashed out at Sindh Minister for Local Government Agha Siraj Durrani. He said that it was a tag on us that we were the friends of Army but this army was our army and we feel proud on it.He said PML-F totally rejects the SPLGA-2012 and would continue its protest until it was repealed.He said the PPP had dual standards as it always extends its support to Kala Bagh Dam in Punjab, while it was against the Kala Bagh Dam in Sindh. He said that the people of Sindh would reject the ruling PPP in next election.Meanwhile, Adam Thomson CMG, British High Commissioner to Pakistan and George Turkington, Head of Department for International Development along with senior officials of the British High Commission visited the The Karachi School for Business and Leadership campus.
