LAHORE - The 18th Westbury Ranking Tennis Championship will begin today (Saturday) at Synthetic Hard Courts of DA Creek Club. According to Sindh Tennis Association SVP M Khalid Rehmani, the sponsors of this prestigious annual STA circuit event are Westbury Group. Karachi Tennis Association (KTA) is organizing this event under the auspices of Sindh Tennis Association (STA). The organizers have received 180 entries in various events including 17 players from Hyderabad. The STA has finalized seeding of various events as in men’s singles, Farhan Altaf is top seed and Nadir Bachani (Hyd) second seed. Raahim Veqar is top seed in U-17 singles, Natalia Zaman in ladies singles and Rafi Derbari (Hyd) in 35 plus singles.
