Ali Waqas puts SNGPL on top with 175

OUR STAFF REPORTERS KARACHI/LAHORE - Ali Waqas played outstanding innings of 175 runs putting his team on top as SNGPL piled up a huge total of 436 runs against Karachi Whites at the end of the second day of four-day Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Grade-II match here Wednesday at NBP Cricket Stadium. Ali Waqas faced 310 balls in his superb innings of 175 runs with 22 fours and one six. He was scoring consecutively in the first-class cricket as has also impressive domestic record last year. Naeemuddin (50), Umar Akmal (44) and Usman Arshad (80) also played well. Tabish Khan 4/116 and Mansoor Ahmed 4/106 bowled well.. At the close of play, Karachi Whites had reached 112 for three. Fazal Subhan is batting 35 and Murtaza Majeed scored 42 in home teams innings.
