ISLAMABAD - Rawalpindi Rams scored 61-2 in 18.5 overs against Islamabad Leopards on the inaugural day of their Inter-Region U-19 Three-Day Tournament 2014-15 quarterfinals here at National cricket ground on Sunday. Runs-scoring machine Zeeshan Malik was unbeaten at 55 hitting 10 boundaries. Earlier, Rawalpindi skipper after winning the toss invited Islamabad to bat first. Islamabad was bowled out for 236 in 61.1 overs. Aamir Jamal scored 55 runs while Shahryar added 40, Ali 37 and Farman 34. Jamil took 4-65, Awais 3-35 and Ismail 2-73. At Mirpur Stadium, AJK, Karachi Dolphins finished day one 97-2 in 36 overs against Peshawar Panthers. Earlier, Peshawar was all out for 171 in 57.4 overs, Zawan Hikmat top scored with 73, Sheraz 30, Shakeel took 4 for 31 and Asghar 3 for 31.
