swabi-Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser could not attend passing out ceremony of the Levies and Khasadars of the ex-FATA regions on Tuesday due to his pre-occupation with the heat up scenario of no-confidence motion and decided to stay in Islamabad, sources in police and PTI leaders said.
“The situation in Islamabad is very complicated as ruling PTI is facing crises since coming to power after the general election 2018, so it was not possible for Asad to attend the passing out ceremony of Khasadars and Levis as chief guest,” a prominent PTI leader told this correspondent when approached.
Other PTI leaders said that situation in Islamabad had really worried the party leaders and nobody knows that what would be result of the no-confidence move. They said that Aleem Khan’s move to join Jahangir Tareen’s group had perturbed them and it might not lead to a domino effect.
Meanwhile, Maj (Retd) Fida, PTI Swabi general secretary, denied that he would join JUI-F.
