Institute of Taxation of Pakistan signs an MoU with SKANS School of Accountancy

LAHORE   -   SKANS School of Accountancy has signed a memorandum of understanding with The Institute of Taxation of Pakistan to represent them as their Approved Tax Tuition Provider (ATTP) in Pakistan.


A ceremony was held at the head office of SKANS School of Accountancy in Lahore where senior officials from both organisations were present. Present at the event were Ansar Javed – President, Institute of Taxation of Pakistan; Sajid Hussain, Chief Executive, SKANS School of Accountancy, Faisal Azeem – Senior Vice President, Institute of Taxation of Pakistan; Muhammad Maqbool, Council Member, Institute of Taxation of Pakistan; Mian Ahmad Farhan – Vice President (Executive), Institute of Taxation of Pakistan; Dr. Rao Raza Hashim – Vice President (Finance), Institute of Taxation of Pakistan; Sabahat Khan, Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Taxation of Pakistan and Mobeen Tahir, General Manager, SKANS School of Accountancy.


This arrangement focuses on developing tax literacy in the country through provision of specialised certification programs. SKANS School of Accountancy will be offering tuition for a range of the Institute’s qualifications at all their campuses across Pakistan as well as online, to fully cater to the demand of Pakistani as well as international students interested in pursuing career in taxation related roles.


Addressing the ceremony, Ansar Javed said, “We are excited about the award of Approved Tax Tuition Provider status to SKANS School of Accountancy. SKANS is a renowned name in teaching accounting programs, and we are very confident that they will make great contribution in teaching Institution of Taxation’s suite of qualifications to young and aspiring tax professionals.”


Addressing the ceremony, Sajid Hussain said: “We are thrilled about our collaboration with the Institute of Taxation of Pakistan. Through the award of Approved Tax Tuition Provider status, SKANS will be opening tuition provision of The Institute of Taxation of Pakistan’s programs at all our campuses across Pakistan. This tuition provision will also be available online for Pakistani as well as international students who wish to obtain this qualification and can not attend the classes face-to-face.”
