ISLAMABAD  -  Prime Minister Imran Khan while taking strong exception to the campaign in social media against national security institutions, has directed FIA to investigate and take action against those indulged in the campaign, it is learnt reliably.

The issue was discussed in the PTI political committee which met with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair on Monday. The sources told The Nation that during the meeting the issue of targeting certain institutions in the social media came under discussion.  The meeting made it clear that PTI has nothing to do with such a campaign.

Meanwhile, PTI dissident Ghulam Bibi Bharwana called on the PM at his office and expressed her full confidence in his leadership.

The Prime Minister continued meetings with his party MPs yesterday. Those who met him include Mian Muhammad Shafiq and Shahid Ahmed, Nazir Ahmed Chohan, Pevaiz Khattak, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi.
