peshawar - Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday recovered about 25.2kg hashish and arrested eight smugglers in three separate incidents.
According to ANF spokesperson, 6kg hashish and 1.2kg opium were recovered during checking of a car near Tatara Park in Hayatabad, Peshawar. The smuggler indentified as Irfanullah of Swabi was arrested on the spot.
In second action, ANF personnel recovered 7.2kg hashish from a car (LE- 9799) near Karkhano Market. Two smugglers, Muhammad Hazrat, Lal Wali and Abdul Manan were also arrested.
Meanwhile, the ANF personnel recovered 12kg hashish from a car (KH-81) at Khyber Gate Jamrud Bazar. Four smugglers, Sajid, Kashif, Abdullah and Musawir Khan were also arrested. Cases have been registered against arrested smugglers and investigation is in progress.
