Shopkeeper shot dead by 2 unknown assailants

ISLAMABAD   -  Two unknown gunmen killed a shopkeeper in an indiscriminate firing on his shop at Darwala Village on Saturday, informed a police spokesman.


According to him, the incident took place within limits of Police Station Lohibher when two unknown assailants opened an indiscriminate firing at shopkeeper, Chaudhry Raja Tahir in his shop. Resultantly, shopkeeper died on his way to hospital due to fatal injuries, while the attackers fled from the scene.


Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammad Ahsan Younas while taking notice of the incident, ordered SSP Operations Muhammad Faisal Kamran to trace out the killers immediately.


Meanwhile, Police have arrested six outlaws including two women from different areas of the city, the spokesman said.


Whereas, Golra Police arrested three drug peddlers including two female drug peddlers namely Sania Bibi, Amna and Muhammad Islam and recovered 2,045g heroine and 1,490g hashish.


Likewise, Noon police arrested accused Amir and recovered one 30 bore pistol while Sihala Police recovered one 30 bore pistol from an accused Azhar. Bani Gala police recovered one 30 bore pistol from an accused Sheraz.
