PTI, PML-Q lawmakers repose trust in Parvez Elahi as future CM

Lahore - Ch Parvez Elahi, the joint candidate of the PTI and the PML-Q for the chief minister slot, Tuesday chaired parliamentary meeting of the two parties with members from Rawalpindi, Sargodha and Multan division in attendance.

The meeting was held at the CM’s secretariat [90 Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam].

All the members of the Punjab Assembly from the three divisions expressed full confidence in the leadership of Ch Parvez Elahi as the future chief minister. An Iftar dinner was also organised in the honour of the members of the Assembly.

Members of the Assembly including Basharat Raja, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan, Rashid Hafeez, Hafiz Ammar Yasir, Sabteen Khan and others participated in the meeting.

Meanwhile, Ch Parvez Elahi released a three-day Iftar schedule for the members of the Assembly starting from April 12.

An Iftar dinner was held in the honour of members of the Assembly from three divisions of Rawalpindi, Sargodha and Multan on Tuesday.

An Iftar party in the honour of MPAs from DG Khan, Bahawalpur and Sahiwal divisions will be held on Wednesday (today). A similar feast will also be given to the members from Gujranwala, Lahore and Faisalabad divisions on Thursday.
