The new narrative

After a day-night inning, Captain Khan was clean-bowled by NA’s No-confidence voting.

Until then PM Khan had used all his might to save his premiership; one of them was Chief Minister Buzdar’s resignation and some internal family corruption was also making news.

Above all, the wild card entry for him was the so-called foreign letter conspiracy. A question arises here: was that letter being the centre of everyone’s attention; used only to make things more sceptical which enjoyed an endorsement to Article-5 and made its way to constitutional blunder? However, the PTI leadership direly needed a new narrative to continue a rather more robust political game.  It reminds us of Imran Khan’s previous narratives which were centralised upon “tabdeeli” change, which means a brand new Pakistan and abolition of corruption.

In short, Imran Khan only has this one ball left, which according to him will be left out by these three highly talented players PML-N, PPP and JUI-F; nonetheless, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari welcomed Pakistanis to a “Purana Pakistan”, claiming that it was the former Prime Minister’s last ball.
