KARACHI - The K-Electric has announced new load-shedding schedule for the metropolis till Eid. Spokesman of K-Electric said that Bin Qasim Power Plant III of the K-Electric was non-functional despite a delay of one year due to which the city will have to witness additional load-shedding till Eid. He said that closure of business activities during Eid holidays could improve the power supply situation. The spokesman said that K-Electric was facing 300 megawatt shortfall. Non-provision of required fuel has also affected the power supply, he added.
