Armed clash leaves five dead in Chota Lahore

ISLAMABAD   -  An armed clash after verbal brawl between two neighbours led to killing of four people of a family and fifth one from their rivals in a village of Tehsil Chota Lahore here on Friday. 

The incident occurred at Sahara Lara area of the Thordher village and the two neighbours who are also blood relatives opened fire at each other. 

When contacted, Tordher police station SHO, Altaf Khan said that clash erupted when one neighbour had admonished the other one for looking at him, which led to opening of fire on each other. 

As a result, two brothers Munsif Khan and Atif Khan, Umair Khan who was son of Munsif and their nephew Abdul Hafeez were killed and Basit Khan and Inamullah of their family were injured. 

Fawad Khan of rival family was killed and his brother Awal Sher was seriously injured. The injured were taken to Bacha Khan hospital complex Shahmasoor and Qazi Hussain Ahmad hospital at Nowshera. 

Police said to have collected information from the crime scene and investigating.  The five dead bodies were removed to tehsil headquarters hospital Chota Lahore for autopsy.
