SP Saddar Zone Islamabad removed from office over non-compliance  of rules

ISLAMABAD - Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Zone Farooq Amjad Bhutter has been removed from his office apparently for non-compliance of rules in a case in involving two hard-core Afghan criminals who had escaped from custody of Golra police, informed sources on Friday.
Meanwhile, two other SPs were transferred and posted in Islamabad police, according to a notification issued by Chief Commissioner Islamabad Capital Territory.
SP Saddar Zone Farooq Amjad Bhutter was removed from his post and ordered to report to Central Police Office (CPO). 
Similarly, SP Nowsherwan Ali, who was serving as SP Rural Zone, has been transferred and posted as new SP Saddar Zone. SP Usman Tipu, who was posted as SP CTD (Operations), replaced Nowsherwan as new SP Rural Zone, sources said.
Sources also disclosed that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman had taken notice of escape of two Afghan hard-core criminals Bilal and Jamal from custody of Golra police and had ordered an inquiry into incident. SSP Operations Dr Syed Mustafa Tanveer was appointed as inquiry officer by the IGP, said sources adding that SSP found SP Farooq Amjad Bhutter guilty of non-compliance of departmental rules during inquiry and also recommended strict departmental action against him. 
Sources said that it was proved during inquiry that SP Saddar Zone Farooq Amjad Bhutter had ordered the then SHO Police Station (PS) Golra SI Asim Ghaffar to arrange meeting of some heirs of two Afghan criminals held by Peshawar police and locked them up in lockup of Golra police stations who later fled from police custody.
Sources said IGP Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman forwarded inquiry report to Chief Commissioner Islamabad who has removed SP Farooq Amjad Bhutter from his office and ordered him to report to CPO, Islamabad.
