ISLAMABAD - Pakistan would fully cooperate with the Economic Coordination Organization (ECO) in realization of important initiatives to enhance the cooperation on the both sides.
Foreign Minster Hina Rabbani Khar stated this while talking to the ECO Secretary General, Yahya Maroofi who called on her here on Tuesday. Yahya Maroofi is in Islamabad to attend the inaugural session of the Board of Trustees of ECO Science Foundation, one of the specialised agencies of ECO based in Islamabad.
The Foreign Minister discussed with Maroofi including ECO Trade Agreement, ECO Container Train linking Islamabad with Istanbul via Tehran Gul Train, ECO Truck Caravan, and ECO Re-insurance Company.
The Foreign Minister lauded the Secretary General for making ECO Science Foundation, vibrant as an important step in ECO's institution-building process. Maroofi expressed appreciation for Pakistan's support to ECO's activities.
