LAHORE - Mian Muhammad Latif, brother of First Lady Begum Kalsoom Nawaz and farther of former MPA Mohsin Latif, passed away yesterday after a protracted illness.
He was admitted to Punjab Institute of Cardiology three days ago and breathed his last in the morning on Wednesday. The deceased was laid to rest in a local graveyard.
The funeral of the deceased performed at Wasa Ground Shadman was attended by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz, the son of Prime Minter Nawaz Sharif, Cap (retd) Muhammad Safdar, PML-N City President Muhammad Pervez Malik, Khawja Ahmad Hassaan, Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin, MPA Khwaja Imran Nazir, Ghazali Saleem Butt, Rana Muhabashir Iqbal, Khwaja Salman Rafiq, former Nazim Lahore, Mian Amir Mahmood, former MPA Sohail Zia Butt, CCPO Lahore Ameen Wains, DIG Operations Dr Haiser Ashraf, and a large number of people from cross section of society.
