ECP should take notice of PTI's campaign expenses: Saad

Khwaja Saad Rafique, leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) urged the Election Commission of Pakistan on Saturday to take notice of the expenses of the election campaign of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI)

Questioning the extravagant expenditure on the election campaign of PTI, Saad Rafique has expressed concerns regarding the expenses and the sources from where the money has been acquired.

While addressing the media in Lahore Saad said, “Within a single [day], PTI is putting up 30,000 posters [everywhere].”

Khwaja Saad Rafique also criticized PTI for 'politics of abuse' and its use of foul language for targetting the opponents.

The former railway minister also said that the conspiracies against the party will not affect the vote bank of PML(N) in Punjab.

While speaking about the general elections, he commented, " PML-N accepts the authority of the presiding officers deployed at the polling stations on July 25."

Stressing on the important role of media, the leader of PML(N) said that in order to ensure free, fair and transparent elections, media should be allowed in the polling stations.
