LAHORE - Theatre fans will rejoice as ‘KopyKats Productions’ have announced their next project, which will hit the theatres later this August or earlier in September. Auditions for new project are underway, already done in Islamabad the production house is now inviting Lahore and Karachi to step up and show their skill. Aspiring actors of Lahore are requested to visit Butler’s Chocolate Café on 25th and 26th June from 9 am to 6 pm.

KopyKats Productions is an Islamabad based theatre company which is responsible for some of the classiest drama staging in Pakistan. Its work is original and one of a kind. KopyKats Productions also holds the honor of dramatization of six of the legendary Anwar Maqsood’s plays. Some of KopyKats Productions presentations include Pawany 14 August, Angan Terha, Sawa 14 August, Half Playt , Act 144, An Idiot’s Legacy & Anwar Maqsood ka Dharna . Their latest hit was another Anwar Maqsood’s written play by the name of Saichen, which beautifully depicted a chapter of lives of Pakistani soldiers who brave the frozen hell for their country before a mesmerized audience.

KopyKats Productions and its projects are lead by the enigmatic Dawar Mehmood who is a dynamic director, determined producer and a versatile actor. This new project he is orchestrating is said to be a political comedy written by Saqib Sameer. It is to be played in six major cities of Pakistan and considering the popularity of KopyKats productions with their audience, it is expected to be another hit.
