Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz has ordered the release of a former federal minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Dr. Shireen Mazari.

The chief minister said that her arrest was not in line with the social values, adding that being a woman she is respectable.

He said that an investigation should be initiated against the anti-corruption department that arrested Mazari.
