LAHORE - Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said his father is fighting for the rights of the people and there is no question of his defeat in that way.

Talking to workers of NA-120 Lahore at Jati Umrah yesterday, Maryam said his father Nawaz Sharif was a brave man who would not be defeated in the mission he had taken upon himself for the welfare of the people and uphold sanctity of their vote. She also asked the workers to stand by Nawaz in his struggle and be ready to follow what he would say.

Earlier the party workers gathered outside Sharifs residence at Jati Umrah where they chanted loud slogans in favour of Nawaz Sharif. Later, Maryam called the workers, about 100, inside the premises and appreciated their spirit and love for Nawaz and talked to them.
