ISLAMABAD -  Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif yesterday directed that all resources and connectivity may be used to locate the requisite donors and to treat the patient namely Affifa.

The patient is under examination/treatment at Armed Forces Bone Marrow Transplant Centre Rawalpindi and needs blood of rare group urgently i.e. OH + (Bombay) to save her live.

The Prime Minister observed that primary issue of the patient was availability of matching blood in cases of bone marrow transplant or blood transfusions. The case assigned to Armed Forces Bone Marrow Transplant Centre, Rawalpindi.

Prime Minister’s Public Affairs & Grievances Wing has appealed to the public for donation of OH +(Bombay) blood group for this 10 years old girl on humanitarian grounds, said an official statement.
