Police nab alleged killer of IIUI student

ISLAMABAD   -   Police have arrested a person allegedly involved in the murder of a student of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), informed a police spokesman on Monday.

According to police spokesman, Islamabad Police’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) along with Punjab CTD apprehended Syed Abid Ali Shah   of Kurram Agency in connection with the murder of one Muhammad Bilal Khan son of Obaidullah, resident of Challas.

The victim, then a resident of   sector G-9/4 Islamabad was stabbed to death near Islamabad Model School No 2 in the limits of Karachi company police station on June10, 2019. The police have also recovered the weapon used in the crime.

IG Islamabad Police has announced commendation certificates and cash awards for the police team.
