Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, has highlighted that peace in Afghanistan is means peace in Pakistan, on Monday. He added that Pakistan aims to bring prosperity and independence in Afghanistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said this while talking to Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Najibullah Ali. The two leaders also discussed issues of mutual interest and the regional security situation.
Afghan Ambassador Najibullah Ali appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for the Afghan peace process. The two brotherly countries also pondered over mutual cooperation of defense and security.
