LAHORE - Brilliant batting display of Lewis Gregory guided Islamabad United to a three-wicket win over Multan Sultans in the PSL-6 third match at the National Stadium Karachi on Sunday.
Islamabad United started the chase brightly but then their batsmen struggled and were reduced to 6/74 in 12th over. But Faheem Ashraf’s 23 and Gregory’s 49 took the side home in a tense finish. Earlier, Islamabad won the toss and asked Multan to bat. Mohammad Rizwan led the team from the front and hit 71 to take Sultans to 150. James Vince (16), Rilee Rossouw (25) and Carlos Brathwaite (22) also batted well.
