Information Minister Ali Zafar Sunday said that foolproof security cannot be provided to every single candidate.

“Providing fool proof security to every single candidate is impossible,” the minister told a private television channel Sunday.

The minister said leveling accusations against the caretaker government is part of politics.

Zafar went on to say that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) kept dollar prices artificially under control until the situation got out of control.

He added that it is wrong to say that electricity crisis in the country has not been resolved. He assured that the 2018 general elections will be transparent.

Zafar claimed that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz are provided all facilities in jail according to the law.
