At least 43 suspected Taliban fighters were killed as they clashed with the security forces in a bid to stop movement of the forces in their areas in restive Orakzai agency on Tuesday, report said. The militants attacked the security forces with lethal weapons and mortar shells in Sawar Kot area in Upper Orakzai. In retaliation by the forces, 43 militants were killed in the ensuing gun battle. Twelve troops also sustained bullet wounds in the shootout. Forces have launched operation 'Khwakh Ba De Shum' (I will See You) in Orakzai agency and successfully making advancement in the stronghold of the Taliban-dominated areas.
