PESHAWAR - Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Ziyad Akram Durrani died of cardiac arrest at 30 in Bannu late Wednesday. He was former KP chief minister Akram Durrani’s son.
Ziyad Durrani was shifted to a hospital after he was caught by cardiac arrest, JUI-F spokesman Jalil Jan said. He breathed his last at the hospital, the spokesman added. His funeral prayers will be offered in Bannu.
Born in 1982 at Bannu, Ziyad Durrani was elected as an MPA in the 2008 general elections from PF-70.
He was a member of Standing Committee of KP Assembly on Administration and Housing. The deceased was also member of PAC. The sudden death of Ziyad Durrani sent a wave of shock and grief to his hometown Bannu and the entire province as well.
A number of condolence messages have started pouring in the newspaper offices by politicians, social workers, party activities and provincial ministers.
