Punjab government will educate street children

RAWALPINDI- The Punjab government has initiated a new project under which formal and informal educational platforms will be established for street children.

The provincial government aims to elevate literacy rates, improve enrollment rates and quality of education as a whole.

The Executive Director of the program, Syed Ijaz Hussain Shah, ensured that around 10,000 street children would be imparted knowledge at these formal and informal schools in Rawalpindi district.

The education system for the street children will not affect their daily routine, he added.
