No public transport on Pakistan Day

Islamabad- The Islamabad Traffic Police have announced an alternative traffic plan for Islamabad due to the Pakistan Day parade on Monday.

SSP Traffic Malik Maqbool said that heavy transport and public transport would not be allowed to ply roads of Islamabad until 3pm, when the ceremony will be closing. He said that all roads leading to the parade avenue will be closed for traffic and people may use alternate routes to get their destinations.
The SSP traffic said that police personnel would be deployed at different points to guide the public and motorists regarding the alternative traffic routes. He said that around 500 traffic wardens will perform duties in Islamabad to regulate the traffic and guide the public. The police official said that the intercity transport would be on the designated routes.
