Police recover victim after an ‘encounter’ with kidnappers

Kandhkot - Kashmore police claimed to have recovered an abductee after an encounter with kidnappers within the precinct of Katcha area on Saturday evening. According to Kashmore police spokesperson Nadar Channa, on a tip-off Kashmore police constituted a special team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Guddu City Manzoor Ahmed Laghari who cordoned off the Katcha area of Ibrahim Machi. On seeing a heavy contingent of police, kidnappers started firing on police vehicles on retaliation police also fired on them resultantly they got freed an abductee. When this scribe approached to Kashmore police chief Amjad Ahmed sheikh, he told that taxi driver Nadeem son of Azeem Sheikh, resident of Sui Balochistan area had been kidnapped some days back from Katcha area on Sunday on intelligent based information they attacked at hideout where they kept him and succeeded in freeing him from the clutches of outlaws. He said that police also held a kidnapper Rabnawaz Sheikh in injured condition. However, one kaleshankove and dozans of bullets and cartridges were recovered from their possessions while case was registered against him, he added. In a separate incident, a youth allegedly ended his life by hanging himself from ceiling fan at his home on early morning police said. According to details, the relatives of deceased said that he was a private teacher and lived with his parents in Marwari Mohallah Rasaldar area. They told his family members were gone to elsewhere when they returned home they found his body was hanging from ceiling from his room. After being informed to police, they rushed to spot and shifted his body to THQ hospital for autopsy. Police said the reason of his suicide is yet to be ascertained and probe is under way.
