One person was killed and another injured in firing of armed men at entrance of Lahore District and Session Court and culprits fled the scene.

According to details, armed culprits started firing at two people who had come to Lahore District and Session Court for hearing of a case.

As a result of firing Abdul Salam, hailing from Sadhoke area of Lahore was killed on the spot while his son Sohail was critically injured.

The assailants fled the scene of the crime. A heavy contingent of police cordoned off the area and started search operation for the attackers.

The body and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The CCPO Lahore taking the notice of incident have directed to arrest the culprits and police after registering a case against the attackers have started raids for their arrest.
