Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Monday directed the Interior Minister to make foolproof arrangements to forestall and prevent any untoward incident during the Eid holidays. He was talking to Interior Minister Rehman Malik who called on him at the PM House here in Islamabad and apprised him of the overall law and order situation in the country. The Prime Minister directed for effective security measures throughout the country to protect the life and property of the people during the Eid festivities.  Prime Minister Ashraf appealed to all shades of public to exhibit complete unity and harmony and demonstrate to the world at large that Pakistanis are a peace loving and tolerant society.
