2nd PGF Match Play Golf tees off today  

LAHORE -The 2nd PGF Match Play Golf Championship for 2021-22, conducted by Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF), will be combated at golfingly arduous Royal Palm Golf and Country Club Golf Course today (Wednesday) at 8:00 am. The three-day event will see some committed and resolute golf amateurs enjoying a handicap status of seven and below engaging in an encounter for ascendancy that fetches the ultimate triumphant one the title of match play champion. This PGF Match Play Championship promises a clash of golfing skills between aspirants of distinction. Qasim Ali Khan of Lahore Gymkhana is a consistent performer and looks forward to adding this honor to his bag of titles. To challenge him in his search for notability are two seasoned ones of the national golf scene - Salman Jehangir and Mohsen Zafar. The chances of two youngsters of Royal Palm Golf Club, Hussain Hamid and Hassan Hamid, are potent and compelling. Others with enormous flair are players like Faisal Sayed (Royal Palm), Hamza Asif (Gymkhana) and Danish Javed also of Gymkhana.
