LAHORE-Rashid Malik beat Tikam Singh Panwar in semifinals of 50plus singles to move in the finals of ITF Seniors World Ranking Tennis Championship at Jalandhar, India on Wednesday.
Malik played superb tennis against the Indian veteran player and didn’t allow him play freely, thus won the crucial match comfortably, thus reaching close to his goal of defending his ITF Seniors titles.
The tennis veteran is not only playing the game very actively but also training and coaching the youngsters, who are representing their country at international circuit and earning good name for Pakistan across the world.
He is more focused on junior development as the more the nursery of different sports will be populated, the better the results will be for Pakistan at international level. His services for Pakistan tennis are remarkable and in return, he deserves better honor and respect from the government.
