LAHORE: Lahore Health Reporters, a body of journalists covering health issues, elected new office-bearers at annual election held at DGHS office yesterday.
Amer Malik was elected president, Huma Sadaf general secretary, Nigar Khuram vice president, Muhammad Sabir Awan finance secretary and Muhammad Suleman information secretary. Syed Sajjad Kazmi and Saima Nawaz performed the duties of election committee who later notified newly elected office-bearers. Large number of journalists from print and electronic media exercised their right to vote. Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Kh Salman Rafiq, Secretary Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Najam ahmed Shah and others congratulated the newly elected office bearers.–Staff Reporter
