‘Sick’ AGP steps down

LAHORE: Naveed Rasul Mirza yesterday resigned as Advocate General Punjab giving his ‘health issues’ as reason. Mirza sent his resignation to the chief minister and law secretary.
Naveed Rasul Mirza, as the sources say, had informed the chief minister about his health issues during a meeting and urged to allow him leave. The chief minister accepted the request.
On the last day in the office, Naveed Rasul spent time with his staff.–Staff Reporter
