Bilawal calls for no confidence motion to remove PM Imran Khan

LARKANA   -   Pakistan Peoples’ Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday suggested that a no confidence motion should be moved against Prime Minister, National Assembly Speaker and others to send this government pacing.

“We know what we have to do to get rid of non-democratic forces,” the PPP leader said while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Larkana Industrial Estate. He said he will speak to the Opposition parties to strike in the assembly.

“We should adopt constitutional, democratic and lawful ways to bring no confidence motion against the prime minister, speaker and others for which we will convince our allies,” he said.  Bilawal said he believes that it would be much more effective way as compared to the ongoing Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) rallies. "Even 10 rallies will not yield the kind of results as a strategy meeting over a cup of tea which is sure to cause the government to worry," he said.

"The democratic way to send this incompetent, illegal, unqualified prime minister is through a no-confidence motion," said the PPP chairman. The PTI government wishes to use brute force as a corrective measure to get the economy running, he said, adding that the Sindh government did not employ such tactics to collect tax. He also claimed that the provincial government had increased tax revenue.

Bilawal said that they were out against massive price hike, and the struggle on the PDM platform was for establishment of people's government. He said the efforts to create differences in the opposition showed how rulers are worried. He said economically, we are behind Afghanistan and Bangladesh. “We have to facilitate business community to benefit the economy.” He said the Sindh government did not use force to enhance its tax collection in comparison to FBR and did not consider traders as criminals.
