Attock CEO Health assures better medical services at BHUs

Attock-Attock CEO Health Dr Mohsin Ashraf said that soon all vacant posts of medical officers in Basic Health Units (BHUs) will be filled as interviews of all candidates have been completed. 
He said this while talking to the notables of village Dakhner who called on him at his office. The notables included former vice chairman Union Council Dakhner Qazi Abdul Jabbar, Wali Khan, Muhammad Ayyub, Binyameen, Khan Badshah, Gulbadshah Khattak, Sajid Ur Rehman, Muhammad Amin and Muhammad Sabrin. Dr Mohsin Ashraf said that his priority is to equip the BHUs of far-flung areas with medical officers, paramedics, medicines and health-related equipment as people living near these BHUs were facing health-related problems. Dr Mohsin said a trauma centre will be built in BHU Tarap to handle emergencies and all BHUs of the district will be renovated as soon as funds are released. 
He said there was no shortage of medicines as every year medicines worth Rs210 million are purchased. CEO Health while talking about the vacant post of medical officer and health technician at BHU Dakhner said that both will be filled soon on priority. Dr Ashraf while replying to different queries of the notables said that there was zero tolerance for those health officials who indulged in financial and moral corruption and will be dealt with iron hands.
