USC’s Ramazan relief package begins today

ISLAMABAD : The Rs2 billion Ramazan Package announced by the government begins through utility stores from today (Monday). Utility Stores Corporation spokesman has said there will be five to ten percent reduction in the prices of over fifteen hundred items under the package to provide relief to common man in the holy month of Ramazan. Under this package, the prices of oil, ghee, rice and pulses will see a decline of ten rupees per kilo.  There will also be ten rupee per kilo decrease in the price of basin, packed milk and dates. The price of twenty kilogram flour bag will be reduced by Rs120 and it will be available to the consumers at 655 rupees.
