PTI policy on Kashmir, nuclear capability flawed, claims Bilawal

Criticises PM’s remarks over women’s dress

ISLAMABAD   -  Pakistan People’s Party chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari yesterday alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s policies were flawed and he must go.

Speaking to journalists here, Bilawal said PM’s policy about Kashmir, his statement about nuclear capability were not good for Pakistan.

Bilawal said that he will soon go to Azad Jammu Kashmir. He said the responses he had received were very good for the PPP. “The people of AJK trust the PPP. They do not trust anyone but the PPP. Prime Minister Imran Khan does not know anything about Kashmir or the nuclear programme,” he said.

Bilawal said the nuclear programme was founded by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who used to say that he cannot make a mistake about Kashmir even when asleep.

“Our Prime Minister Khan said on the floor of the Assembly that Kashmir issue will be resolved after Modi’s victory in elections,” the PPP chief said.

He declared Imran Khan’s recent interview with a television channel as unfortunate. “We should side with the victims in the rape cases and Imran Khan is sitting in an office where he has to be very careful about what he says. Dressing has nothing to do with rape. We will have to review our language and the society will have to take a stance for the victims,” he said.

Bilawal said Bin Laden tried to assassinate the prime minister of Pakistan through Ramzi Yousuf. “In 1994 the terrorists wanted to conduct a coup in Pakistan. Does Imran Khan not know that OBL had played a role in terrorising the entire world? Does he not know that assassination of Benazir Bhutto also points a finger at him? If OBL is not a terrorist then who is a terrorist? He is a poster boy for terrorists who started their terrorism. He gave a bad name to Islam. Every Pakistani and Muslim has the responsibility to call him a terrorist and he does not represent Islam. Islam is a peaceful religion,” he contended.

At the moment, he said, the entire world was watching the situation in Afghanistan.

Nayyar Bukhari said the PM should think twice before speaking. “He should apologize to the women of the country,” he demanded.
