LAHORE - The prize distribution ceremony was held here at the National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday to honour the gold medallist hockey team of the South Asian Games held at Dhaka. Punjab Education Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed cash awards among the players and officials. Also present on the occasion were President PHF Qasim Zia (Olympian), Secretary General PHF Muhammad Asif Bajwa, Rana Mujahid Ali, Secretary Punjab Hockey Association, Olympian Khawaja Zakauddin, Olympian Arshad Ali Chaudhary, Olympian Khawaja M Junaid, Olympian Anjum Saeed and Treasurer PHF Khalid Iqbal. The cash awards were distributed to team officials and players.
