On Tuesday, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) senior leader and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Bashir Ahmed Halepoto passed away.

He was a member of the Sindh Assembly from constituency PS-70 Badin-I.

He was also a member of the Sindh Assembly Standing Committee on Labour and Human Resources.

Halepoto had been a Member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, from May 2013 to May 2018.

Halepoto became MPA in Sindh Assembly on a PPP ticket from constituency PS-55 in 2013 general election and re-elected from PS-70 (Badin-I) in 2018 general elections.
