AJKTA inducted in Pakistan Tennis Federation

LAHORE - Azad Jammu Kashmir Tennis Association (AJKTA) has been formally inducted in the Pakistan Tennis Federation as a non-voting member, in accordance with decision of PTF Council meeting 2021. 
Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) President Salim Saifullah Khan welcomed the induction, terming it as a historic decision, resulting from hectic efforts of AJKTA President Farooq Sabir and Secretary General Mr Habib Jarral. 
Talking to the Nation here Saturday, PTF Senior Vice President Khawaja Suhail Iftikhar referred the induction as another positive and meaningful effort for promotion of tennis in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) which would not have been possible without guidance, patronage by President PTF Salim Saifullah Khan, as it required fulfillment of PTF Constitutional requirements and related codal formalities. 
The PTF president also urged the current affiliates to extend maximum assistance and support to the AJKTA for organizing various events and tournaments at all levels. Salim Saifullah also urged the entire affiliated units to conduct maximum tennis activities as well as talent hunt programmes and after finding fresh talent, groom them well and recommend their names to the PTF, which will be trained further by the PTF coaches and prepared for the international events, so that they may win laurels for the country.
