South Punjab development package on the cards

Islamabad    -  Prime Minister Imran Khan who is facing political challenge by his erstwhile close friend Jehangir Tareen, is making a day long visit to South Punjab capital Multan on Monday to show his strength, it is learnt.

Official sources confirmed that PM Imran Khan would lay foundation stone for construction of building of South Punjab Secretariat in Multan on Monday.

Prime Minister Imran khan on occasion  would announce important decisions for socio-economic development of South Punjab.

The South Punjab is home to sitting chief Minister usman Buzdar, who has finalized all projects for South Punjab to be announced by the Prime Minister . Prime Minister would aalso meet members of National Assembly and Provincial Assembly belonging to PTI.

During the visit Prime Minister would be briefed about the over all development plan of South Punjab and budget allocation in the upcoming federal budget.

Political observer attach extraordinary importance to the visit of the PM to Multan which is also considered strong hold of opposition PML-N.
