Islamabad - The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Mr. Essa Abdullah Al Basha Noaimi called on Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar at the Foreign Office Thursday to discuss bilateral matters and regional issues of mutual interest.
The Ambassador also handed over a letter from Foreign Minister of UAE His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan and UAE enjoyed excellent relations and that she looked forward to meeting with HH Sheikh Abdullah on the sidelines of the forthcoming NAM Summit in Tehran.
Separately, Hina met Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and apprised him of the upcoming visit of President Asif Ali Zardari to Iran in connection with the 16th meeting of Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Tehran.
