Special Assistant on Capital Development Authority (CDA) Ali Nawaz Khan, on Tuesday, said that government should formulate regulatory framework to run Islamabad efficiently.
In a recent press-briefing, he said the government is looking into merging various organizations such as the CDA, Cooperatives Department and Companies Act.
He added that the approval of the regulatory framework will be taken by the Cabinet.
Ali Nawaz went on to say that on the flooding incident in E-11 sector of Islamabad, inquiry is being run. He mentioned that the society showed slackness in clearing Nullah.
“Evaluating the responses of rescue services, it has been decided to remove encroachments along the Nullah in E-11 sector,” the Special Assistant said.
